Painter's Arsenal.

I went to a painter's studio today to sell my old Lumix camera. Interesting experience to say the least. I had never been to an artist's studio, and it is a place full of colors and objects I don't see everyday, like the arsenal of brushes and other tools in this picture.

Future Photographer.

I already know what profession she's gonna choose in the future. Too cute :) Taken at Oktoberfest at Pier 48, San Francisco.

Mr. Happy Scarecrow

I haven't seen many scarecrows in my life, and I definitely haven't seen such a happy one. Taken at a pumpkin patch nearby my office.

These sisters were wearing the same high heels, and they were hot. The shoes that is!

Twin Peaks

I've been to Twin Peaks many times, but the weather had never been as clear as this night. Not a cloud or fog in the air, and the whole city was shining fantastically bright. Magnificient view!

Icy Bay Bridge

I made a few different white balance versions of this shot, and decided I like this one the best because it shows how FREAKIN COLD IT WAS!!!

One more squirrel shot. I like how the bright light gives a sharp contrast against this little guy's dark colors. And the earring! And the nut in its mouth! Fantastic!

Dusty Sounds. I haven't touched either instruments in a while, and it's all my camera's fault.

I rented a Nikon 50mm f/1.4G today from borrowlenses.com. I wanted to play with it of course, but was too lazy to go outside, so I just started shooting whatever around the house. It was very hard to find inspiration inside my boring apartment, so I'll settle for this one. I like this lens a lot. The wider aperture helps a lot with exposure, and it gives great bokeh too. Not used to not having zoom though, so I had to move around a lot, but I'm ok with that.

Today is another lazy day, and thus I was too lazy to go outside and take pictures. On top of that, I am trying to force myself to take pictures inside the apartment, believing that inspiration can be found anywhere. I had a frustratingly hard time deciding what to shoot, and every shot just looked ugly.

Then I got a Save-the-date from my friend Emily. Thanks for giving me a subject to shoot! Purple being her favorite color, the whole damn thing was purple, from the envelope to the ribbon to the heart to the lettering. As she is a musical prodigy, I just had to place it on top of the piano. Congratulations! :)

San Francisco Hearts America!

Taken at the LovEvolution Festival in San Francisco on October 3rd, 2009. Damn heart-shaped balloon was blowing all over the damn place. Took a few tries to get a decent shot. Had to wait for the wind to blow the flag too.

Ruby Skye.

I did my first photo shoot at a nightclub last weekend. It was a most valuable experience. I came knowing just about nothing, and left with more knowledge than I could have imagined.

Paris vs. Planet Hollywood

One final blast at Las Vegas. Thanks for the memories Sin City. You will be missed.
